Discover Ukrainian capital

The green and ancient Ukrainian capital is home to approximately three million people. Situated on the great Dnypro river Kyiv is traditionally called “The mother of Slavyc cities”, so it is the place you should visit to understand the soul and history of Slavyc nations. Despite of the fact, Kyiv can safely be considered a cosmopolitan city as its style and culture is permanently influenced by both Western and Eastern, old and modern traditions. Unique museums, theatres, galleries and old buildings at ancient streets of Kyiv are naturally neighbored by more pragmatic tourist attractions –clubs, stores, craft markets etc.

Ukrainian capital has several botanical gardens, parks and beautiful trees, so in summer and spring it is fully covered by a fantastic sweet-smelling blossom. The Dnypro River provides such leisure activities as swimming, boat rides and cycling trails along its banks. There is really so much to see and do in the city, that you will be kept busy for several days. For a while there were understandable concerns about the safety of staying in such close proximity to notorious Chernobyl nuclear reactor plant, but most scientists agree that the city is safe from the effects of radiation.
