Situated on about 40 hectares, the zoo is cared for by 378 staff members and gets over 280,000 visitors annually. The diverse landscape allows proper comfort for the animals. There are over 2,000 fauna representatives from all over the world in the The Kyiv Zoo. 130 different kinds of trees and bushes decorate the zoo's islands. The Kyiv Zoo is not only a showcase of animals from around the world, but also a research center and an entertainment complex for children and grow-ups.
